ABOUT THE POOL LEAGUES & weekly tournaments

Tee’d Up is home to competitive pool leagues and weekly tournaments for players of all skill levels. Through our partnership with the APA (American Poolplayers Association), players can compete in structured league play while enjoying a welcoming, competitive environment right here in Florence.

Whether you’re joining an established team, forming one with friends, or stepping into league play for the first time, Tee’d Up offers multiple ways to compete and stay involved throughout the week.

League Nights at Tee’d Up

  • Tuesday Nights – APA 8-Ball League

  • Wednesday Nights – APA 9-Ball League

In addition to APA league play, Tee’d Up also hosts weekly Friday pool tournaments, run in-house and open to players looking for a competitive, one-night event experience.

More Than Just a Game

WHY JOIN A POOL LEAGUE

APA leagues provide structure, accountability, and consistent competition in a social setting.

  • Play weekly in organized matches

  • Compete with a fair handicap system

  • Improve your skills through regular competition

  • Be part of a local pool community

  • Opportunities for tournaments and postseason play

Simple Steps to get Started

How It Works

  1. 1. Register with the APA

  2. All players must register through the American Poolplayers Association to participate. This creates your official APA player profile and handicap record.

  3. 2. Join a Local League

  4. Once registered, you can:
    • Join an existing team
    • Be placed on a team if space is available

  5. 3. Get Rated & Handicapped

  6. APA uses a nationally recognized handicap system that allows players of different skill levels to compete fairly. Your skill level adjusts as you play.

  7. 4. Play Weekly Matches at Tee’d Up

  8. Teams compete weekly during scheduled league nights. Matches are recorded and tracked through APA systems.

  9. 5. Advance, Compete & Improve

  10. League play runs in sessions and may lead to local tournaments, playoffs, and advancement opportunities.
